Before these forums become extinct I thought I'd better mention this guy ... I've watched him grow from a total newbie to the point where he is now one of the fattest comedians you could meet. Why bother with a skinny jeaned, limp haired "Russell" for your gig when Richard delivers twice the weight for the same fee - and he has virtually no hair, limp or otherwise.

Richard's other USP is his age - he's 63 and he totally makes that a barrier between himself and mainly young audiences. His cultural references rarely stray beyond "the war" and "the 60's", refusing to engage his audience with the requisite tales of self abuse or "COD Modern Warfare".

His material is original, based loosely around events in his own life and he does have a high gag rate. However, with a career plan that could only succeed with the support of EU Age Diversity programs, in the post-Brexit world he's almost certainly finished.
