Had the pleasure of welcoming Ian as the open 20 at my Gloucester brewery gig last Saturday; did really well, lovely material, well delivered, good interaction, not phased by a few unexpected twists - professional and funny. Definitely recommend him as a strong opener or middle spot - very impressed. Lovely chap off stage too.

During the Edinburgh Fringe just gone, I was doing a show where I did 20, my co-host did 20, and a different guest each day did 10. We had Ian booked to be a guest on a day where my co-host couldn't fulfill her set due to other commitments; Ian happily stepped in at short notice and did a fantastic 25, improvising off the audience effortlessly and being incredibly funny and charming both on and off stage.

One of the true good guys on the circuit, and utterly hilarious.
