His name sounds like a character from Narnia or the Lord of the Rings but don't be put off. Winter came down to Sussex to perform for us at Danny's Comedy Club in April 2014, which as those of you who've gigged with us know, its not the easiest place to get to and our 'three auditoriums in one' performance space is always a challenge to all of our acts. Winter arrived in plenty of time before the show; he was polite, courteous and thoroughly professional throughout, making him a real joy to work with. His comedy persona was friendly and engaging but edgy enough to hold the audience's attention and entertain them. His material was strong, practiced and well delivered. He had a good sense of self-deprecation that my audiences love and his joke style was storylike, which they always respond to well.
No hesitation in having him back again and can thoroughly recommend him to others.

Winter Foenander...what can I say. Pace, energy, delivery...Closed the 1st half of Luton Comedy Bar using a machine gun of improvisation blended exquisitely with well honed material.

Left the room on a high, and fully worked the awkward post heckler haze into a shared crowd experience of mutual piss taking. Brilliant stuff. Getting 50 people back on board within 5 seconds of getting on stage. Thank you for that!

Well done man, that's the sign of a pro-Comedian! Pay this man. He can work a room that has just witnessed 2 p*ssed and obnoxious women being thrown out and get them back onto the comedy boil(honestly, 20-25 year old drunken women are becoming the worst!)

Not just a pretty face! An absolute delight to watch, Winter has mastered the ability to bring something different to every performance making him entertaining to watch over and over again. Watching him interacting with the audience is a MUST a very natural skill many comics lack these days. Unlike his name Winter is a very warm and friendly comic who will leave you laughing out loud on the bus home as you realise some of his very cleverly written jokes have more than one punch line!

Winter performed at my night, Bear Jokes, this Tuesday just gone and gave a strong and boisterous performance that the crowd really enjoyed. Like the other acts on the night, he had to contend with an audience member who genuinely had Tourettes but rather than ignore the constant random outbursts bounced off them and succeeded in laughing along with the situation when it could have been all too easy to slip and say something out of turn by accident.

Winter Foenander

Winter creates an instant rapport with the audience as he opens his world up for them to walk around in. A great combination of the absurd and the everyday performed with energy and passion. Looking forward to seeing him again soon.

Winter did a solid 20 minutes last Saturday to a lively bunch! He gave as much as they gave. I don't know if its his accent or just him but well worth a look and to book.
