| I think I'd be embarrased as well if I'd posted a messaage admitting I'd kept screen shots of arguments that took place 4 years ago. It did make you look a little bit annally retentive. |

I think I'd be more embarrassed if I was the sort of cunt to comment on it. But well done, you are that cunt.
For the record Mark Rough is cool. xx _________________ Bring me the head of Dark Entertainment!

Roughy supported this gig from the word go and finished off what was a great evening. Despite the PA fucking around with heads all evening, Roughy simply threw the mic into the audience and then proceeded to make everyone piss their pants using charm, wit and volume.
So good was the Mackem Motormouth that when I returned to the venue to drop off PR stuff, the staff and regulars wanted to know if he'd be back on for the next gig - I could only inform them it would simply be another cracking line-up.
Love to all

| Said it before and I'll say it again - Corporate Event, Sportsmen's Evening, Arts Centre, Student Dive or Room above a Pub - Roughy can play ANY of them! He's the ONLY act I've had at my place 3 times - He always blows the roof. |

Booked Mr Rough to headline an army gig near Hull and what can I say, he blew the roof off the place with a seemingly endless supply of fantastically well delivered gags, absolutely brilliant.
30+ minutes in his company sped by and he left the mixed audience of men, women, military personnel and civilians begging for more.
I can't really think of any situations or type of gig where he wouldn't go down a storm, a very funny guy and a pleasure to work with, he's definitely someone who I'll be booking for plenty more gigs in future. _________________ "A beaut of a one-liner merchant" - londonisfunny.com

The Gothic Chameleon Comedy Club kicked off in amateur style on 13 October and considering this was my first time it was a success. I wasn’t even this nervous doing my first stand-up gig almost a year ago to the day in a basement comedy club near Kings Cross where the punters were armed with heckles that were lost on me (a bit too academic). As a ‘promoter’ (if I’m allowed to call myself that), a massive thanks to everyone who came along including those who’s email I received the morning after to say they couldn’t come, bastards, thanks to you we finished on time. There was a decent crowd and someone commented on the city centre ‘crumpet’ and the ‘blurt’ (haven’t heard that word since the 80s). I also heard a rumour someone got their face stuck in a glass of Pimms, students eh?
Anyway, this is about Mark, not me. Mark headlined and closed to allow some travellers to get the last bus home and The Mackem Motormouth hit the crowd with his rapid fire of greatest hits. There’s something about people travelling to a new gig, where there’s no money, to support new acts and promotors and I appreciate it, especially if you don’t need it. Mark demonstrated professionalism, commitment and I will always be grateful for the time and advice. Cheers. Ps did I mention we have a Facebook group? If not, please join our Gothic Chameleon Comedy group on Facebook. |

We've only recently started running our new act nights in Stockton and Redcar and having seen Mark previously we were very greatful when he offered to help support the nights and headline a night at both venues.
At Stockton he brought the house down so we thought we knew what to expect in Redcar, & we were even more delighted when he was even better on from what was already a fantastic act the first time round (With an impressively differed set).
Absolute pleasure to work with, fantastically supportive both to the venue, & the night/s respectively as well refusing to be paid anywhere near his usual price, for little more than expenses. Deserves to be in much bigger rooms, absolutely fantastic, nothing but goods to say and hear from the nights respectively (Even made one "lucky" punter, choke on a pint laughing).
Again, comes hugely recommended, can't say enough good about both the man himself, and his act. Again...hilarious with impressive command over a room any size. |

Gigged with Mark last night at the uncomedysavvy Stoubridge Golf Club.
Packed out audience of 120 with an age range of 18-70 he "hit the spot" with all of them with short quickfire gags, amusing anecdotes or taking the piss out of the punters who thinks is there role to join in when they like. So many kind words about him afterwards from guffawing punters.
My personal favourite was his "true crime" routine - "I see your boys are letting you down George, they cant be much good can they....?" - you had to be there.
