Thats also true, you should never stop developing a joke or set. Thats what Bernard Manning did and i don't think anyone wants to be thought of like that...unless of course your Roy.

Whatever happened to Coughlan he hasn't posted for ages - is he still doing comedy?

He still does gigs, but he somehow makes money from sitting at home and yelling into a webcam.

Poor lad - he looks and sounds pretty ill to me. I hope he'll be ok.

I had this explained to me, and I still was confused. but I think it's if you have over a certain number of subscribers, you get points on the package for every cent of advertising money that's brought by getting hits.

With just 15,500 subscribers and being reliant on them clicking on advertisements for a few sheckles I doubt his is dining out much

Yes, like Rhod Gilbert, Holly Walsh, We Are Klang, just a few examples of "identikit" comedians who did comedy courses.

Thanks, you've proved my point.

Which isn't quite the same as a "stand up comedy course", non?

Hi guys,

Its my first post, I did a course yesterday, which i found helpful, lots of writng ideas, and loads of improv games and stuff, which were fun and sort of got rid of some nerves.

I would highly recomend it, it is for absolute beginners, I had done one Funhouse gong, and from this course I feel confident I caan improve my material, and hopefully put together a decent set!!
