Let's write a sketch for the Kevin Bishop show then.

Right, what we need first is a film with 'Day' in the title. Take '28 Days Later' for example, or 'Groundhog Day'.

Now what we'll do is replace 'Day' with 'Gay' and we've got ourselves a sketch boys!

Insert more "saw it coming a mile off" comedy and you're on to a winner. Wait, Dyslexia outbreak on the news? I bet those unfortunate newscasters get their words wrong!

One short sketch consisted of Jonathan Ross counting his money in his chat show studio. THAT WAS IT.

I thought Kevin Bishop was a great performer in Star Stories and gave his pilot a try, which I hated but gave a series episode a try. Ugh Sad

I'm friends with one of the cast. On the evening of the pilot's TX last year I was out with him and had forgotten to set Sky+ to record. He was delighted. 'I don't really want you to see it,' he said. 'It's fucking awful.'

Saw it eventually. How right he was.

What the fuck has happened to Channel 4?

Saw the show last Friday, I quite like it. A bit hit and miss, but I think the channel hopping thing is very neat!

So neat in fact, I was channel hopping through the show!

I keep watching it to try and get the punchline before it's revealed, and I'm getting good at it.

But seriously, "Little Little Britain"? "First of the Mohicans"?

The whole show is based on them finding names of shows/films and changing a word!

I'm not one for complaining, and as I've said before I've enjoyed Kevin Bishop on other things, but I just can't get my head around this awful, awful show

It's just a variation on a theme (ie. done before with radio, tv & film productions). Kevin Bishop does have talent, it's just unfortunate it's not being used to the best of his abilities!
The comedy needs to be written stronger & funnier! What i mean by this is that some of the punchlines really do need to be devastatingly sharper.

Groundhog Gay... I'm still laughing at that.

It's a lot of 10 second sketches to write. Pop Profile, I mean Star Stories will be back soon.

I didnt like the look of it from the get go, seemed like another rich white kid got into TV to do some tired old sketchy shite.

Obvious and dull comedy is so lame.

I sat watching an episode thinking "I'm not even sure he's trying to be funny".

It had no comedic value at all. I thought he was maybe trying to be ironic, and part of me hopes he was.
