Memorabilia fetches £180 at auction
Quote:
Mr Bean's teddy bear has been sold for £180 at auction.

The stuffed toy had been on display at the Teddy Bear Museum in Stratford-upon-Avon, which broadcaster Gyles Brandreth set up 21 years ago.

But as the exhibition is moving to a new, smaller venue in London, Brandreth decided to sell many of the bears in his private collection.

Rowan Atkinson personally donated the bear used in the Mr Bean TV series to the former MP.

It went under the hammer at auctioneers Bohnams as part of a lot that also included the official toys made to celebrate the museum 10th and 15th anniversaries of the musuem, as well as a third bear named Fred. The enitre lot was sold for £180.
