N-word outburst on YouTube

A video of outtakes from the show has been posted on the internet in which creator and puppeteer Paul Fusco uses the taboo word several times as they prepare of a scene.
He was, apparently, spoofing an episode of LA Law, which featured a character with Tourette’s Syndrome.
Steve Lamar, an associate producer of the show, told gossip website TMZ, ‘You’re talking about 20 years ago when the world was not so ridiculously PC. Anyone that’s offended needs to lighten up already.’
ALF – which stood for Alien Life Form – revolved around a cat-eating, wiseguy alien who ended up living with a suburban family and ran for four series from 1986 to 1990
