Hart to voice new gameshow
| Quote: | Miranda Hart is to prove the commentary for a new prime-time Saturday night entertainment show.
She will narrate Don’t Scare The Hare – a family game show in which teams must tackle a series of physical and mental challenges, without setting off the traps which will set a 4ft animatronic hare into action.
Filming on the eight-part BBC One series (plus a ‘best of’ compilation) begins in MediaCity UK in Salford, Manchester, this week.
It will be hosted by Gadget Show presenter Jason Bradbury, who was once in a comedy circuit double act with David Walliams.
Alan Tyler, the BBC’s executive editor of entertainment, says: “Don’t Scare The Hare cleverly captures the spirit and fun of interactive family videogames that has been sweeping the nation.’
