4.2m for new BBC One show
Quote:
Lee Mack's All Star Cast drew a strong 4.2million viewers for new BBC One on Saturday night, with more than one in five of the total TV audience tuning in.

But it was less good news for ITV1's version of the panel show Jerry Seinfeld created, The Marriage Ref. which attracted just 2.25 million at 9pm, plus another 300,000 an hour later on the +1 channel.

It only narrowly beat Have I Got A Bit More News For You at the same time on BBC Two, which was seen by 2.13 million.

In what was a good night for comedy, even a rerun of Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow won 3 million viewers – a fifth of the total audience at 10.45pm – and a Dad’s Army repeat won 2.4million on BBC Two at 7.30pm.

I was going to watch the Lee Mack show on iplayer, but there's something about it which sings 'RUBBISH' before I've even clicked play.

Did anyone watch it?

I did. It wasn't great. The only high point was a too-short set from Stewart Francis.

Otherwise, toss.
