Chortle listings can now be customised

We have introduced a new ‘default location’ function, which means listings will automatically be set for those in your chosen region.
And it means the ‘gig of the day’ and ‘book ahead’ panels on the front page will only highlight recommended gigs near you, provided something suitable is available.
The new functionality does not keep tabs on your actual location, but is simply an option you can set when selecting ‘show comedy in...’ in the blue menu bar near the top of the page. You can also select - or deselect - your default location from the left-hand index on our listings pages.
We have also changed the format of or Podcast section on the front page - which will now highlight a different ‘podcast of the week’ every Thursday.
