Hello comedy fans..iam like an excited kitten !
I have been involved in comedy for twenty years plus in some form or another and i now have an opportunity to build, operate and own "Essex's only purpose built comedy club "
What are peoples thoughts on a large town having a club with a capacity of 200 ish producing shows three/ four times a week ?

would never work... hahaha.. jk ... I think if the locations right it would go down really well man... maybe you could even invite a couple other promoters in to do a few shows.. by a couple I mean one and by one I mean me... haha..

Well news from the front line is good ! planning permission is in place and i realisticly think we should launch in November
Iam not saying much more at this stage in case the wheels fall off !
Except " COMING SOON " ESSEX'S FIRST PURPOSE BUILT COMEDY CLUB !

Awesome news Gary.. Hope you do get it off the ground.. would be nice to foucus efforts and a purpose built venue would do just that.

The plan is too run club nights Friday and saturday and then slowly introduce touring shows and possibly a student nite/ new act night maybe !

Next stage underway this week ...vist from extraction engineeers, plumbers and electrician ...lets hope its inside the budget !
