Students 'didn't see the funny side'

Worried students at Southend Adult Community College were unaware they were being filmed for the new series I’m Spazticus – and called police.
Channel 4 said that ‘as a gesture of goodwill’ they wouldn’t show the footage as students ‘didn't see the funny side’.
I’m Spazticus features disabled people pranking members of the public and comes after a successful Comedy Lab pilot in 2005.
Principal Stephen Layman said his college agreed to allow his art students to be secretly filmed three weeks ago because he was told it was ‘aimed at challenging people's attitudes to disability’.
‘We were shocked and surprised to discover the filming that took place within the class did not reflect the brief supplied,’ he added.
Police responded to the student’s calls, although no further action was taken.
