Submitting Listings to Chortle - Important Info

We are now trying to standardise the format for submitting listings to try and get things up more quickly for promoters and acts.

Please read the following information carefully as we will be prioritising listings sent in the following format. PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT COMEDY LISTINGS!

All listings to be sent to listings@chortle.co.uk

Venue Name
Address (with postcode)
Box office number

Date of show 1
Show start time
Price (concession price)

Act 1, Act 2, Act 3 etc You can specify who is MC by making their name last and putting (MC) at the end of it.

Ticket link (must be specific event link, not just a link to the venue page) Please note we only accept ticket links from WeGotTickets, TicketWeb, TicketMaster and SeeTickets.

If you have more than one venue please list all gigs for one venue in date order followed by all gigs of the next venue in date order and so on and so forth.

Please do not include TBCs or TBAs in the list. Please don't include descriptions or quotes or use caps lock. Please capitalise first and second names. Please ensure there is only one space after each comma between names.

If you are submitting a solo show, festival show or project show please include show title, running time and a description below the acts but no quotes.

Please send only to listings@chortle.co.uk and not individual people at Chortle as well/instead; and do not resend listings that haven't appeared, as this puts a new 'received' date on your information, and it falls back down the queue. PLEASE TRY TO HAVE YOUR LISTINGS TO US 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT.

Hopefully this standardised format will help us get everyones listings up faster. We will be prioritising listings sent in this new standardised format so please do take note.
